Remigeo Mugambi is a Senior Partner of the Firm and Oversight Partner in-charge of our Nyeri Branch Office. He is also the head of the Firm’s Estate Management and Probate Administration practice. He is an experienced practitioner in the area of estate management and probate administration, professional malpractice and civil litigation.

Remigeo is an astute, diligent and experienced litigator known for his highly meticulous organization and phenomenal work ethic and will literally burn the midnight oil for his clients,  with zeal and passion for excellent service delivery. He is also quite the charismatic and organised leader. Many young lawyers have and continue to benefit from his immense leadership of our Firm’s Advocates Training Programme.

Experience 

  •  ­ ­Acting and advising on all aspects of estate management and probate administration, including structuring appropriate modes and vehicles for effective and efficient succession planning, and preparing succession law documents such as wills, codicils, trusts, binding financial agreements, powers of attorney.

  •     Acting for and advising trustees and beneficiaries in regard to their rights arising from succession and wealth asset related instruments, including investments management agreements.

  •        Acting and advising on asset tracing in relation to unclaimed assets.

  •        Acting and advising clients on all aspects of civil litigation.
  •      Acting and advising clients on all aspects of alternative dispute resolution. 

Qualifications, Memberships And Leaderships

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Law.

  • Bachelor of Laws (Honours).

  • Member, Law Society of Kenya

  • Member, East Africa Law Society

  • Co-Convenor of the Court Users Committee of the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi (Family, Probate & Administration Division). 

  •  Contributor to the World Justice Rule of Law Index Project & Reports.
  • Providing pro-bono services to various organizations, especially in areas of health care law and human rights.
